Dear Sir or Madam,

I have recently bought a Samsung digital camera from your showroom. I was excited to bring it home but disappointed to find that it did not work as expected. To add more misery, even after I returned it to your store to claim the warranty, I am yet to hear an update. I am hoping to get my camera replaced by a new one.

I have bought a Samsung NX410 40MP camera from 125 Oxford St, Soho showroom on 10th December. Unfortunately, it malfunctioned just after I took it home. I cannot take pictures and it turns off automatically. The very next day, I visited your showroom and talked to Cynthia, one of your representatives, who assured me that the camera would be replaced within 24 hours. When I called her again, she told me that it would take a few more days and would be repaired instead of being replaced. When I demanded the reason, she failed to answer.

It has been almost a week since I purchased the camera from your store. The faulty product should be your responsibility, not mine. One of my relatives has advised me to talk to the Consumer Right Authority and file a complaint against your company but I will wait till 24th (the day before Christmas). I am attaching the receipt of the purchase.

I still believe your brand reputation. I would like you to take immediate action against the misconduct I experienced.

I am sorry to learn from your letter that you had some problems with the digital camera which you bought it from our showroom on December 10th. After receiving your letter of complaint, I put it into checking immediately and I am pleased to take all the responsibility. Due to without thoroughly testing, we had hurriedly sold it to you. I am very sorry for what you are experiencing.

In fact, Cynthia who is our representatives is a new employee in this company and she is still on probation. Therefore, she has not handled it well when you ask the reason.

According to our showroom's regulations, all products are warranted in our showroom for one year from the date of purchase. You purchased the camera for one week so it is still within the warranty period. Therefore, our technical staff checked it and found that there was the error made in the production line. Thus, we will replace a new one, and we will guarantee your camera for 12 months. I hope you will be satisfied with our solution.

Once again, I am sincerely sorry about this circumstance. I apologize for all of the problems you are facing. I have enclosed you a $ 100 voucher which sent in this letter, and I look forward to serving you in the next purchase.

I am writing to apologize for the problem related to the Samsung digital camera which you bought from our showroom. In fact, I always assure our product quality and bring the satisfaction to our customers. Unfortunately, I made you unsatisfied because the digital camera which you purchased from our showroom had stopped working. I extremely apologize to you and it must be a memorable experience for us. I have to check each item more carefully before selling.

Actually, Cynthia who is our representatives told you that the digital camera will be repaired within 24 hours. Indeed, we always repair digital cameras for customers within 24 hours if they are slightly damaged. If they are badly damaged, we need at least 1 week.

In fact, your digital camera just bought within 1 week and it is still under warranty. Thus, our technical staff will recheck. If we determine that the troubles come from our product, we will replace for you a new one of the same type. And you will not have to pay any extra fees. Hence, it takes at least one day for our technical staffs to check the machine then Ms. Cynthia will inform you tomorrow.

Once again, on behalf of all staffs in our showroom, I frankly apologize you for our mistake. I assure you that we will not let this mistake happen again. I hope to receive more comments of you so that I can improve myself in the best way and I hope that you will continue shopping in our showroom.
