Studies show that crime rates are lower among those with educational degrees. Therefore, the best way to reduce the crime rate is to educate criminals while they are still in prison. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Fistly, if we educate prisoners, they will have perception of good life. Therefore, they will try hard to correct their mistake. They understand that if they proceed to do criminal activities, they will have bad result. On contrast, if they become the useful people, gorvement or others can give them support. Their life will become better.
Secondly, we educate criminals while they are still in prison, which can help them have skills, knowledge to have a job. When they have money enough to spend their life. They tend to not have criminal behaviors. As a result that crime rate will lower than before.
To sum up, educate criminals while they are still in prison have many benefit such as help them have a job and they will perception of life. Besides that, in my view, we also educate everybody when they are still chidren. That help decrease crime rates better.
Firstly, lacking of knowledge about the law and unstable moral ideology are the popular causes leading to people break the law. To be more specific, many people usually do something which they are familiar with, but they do not care about the brave repercussions of their behaviors, so they become criminal in unconsciousness. For example, many famers cultivate vegetables with over fertilizer in order to harvest big quantity, but they still do that until consumers get health troubles such us digestive disorder or food poisoning. In addition, people who do not have the righteous moral standard easier to commit a crime, especially young people. It is clear that teenagers easily manipulate by suspects to take part in crime line. Therefore, letting prisoners in education with purpose improving legal awareness and moral lecture in order to avoid to re-offend.
Secondly, a life of poverty is the best environment to make someone lose ability in curbing illegalities. It is clear that people without job, house and income cannot refrain wrong behaviors such as stealing or cheating in order to feed themselves. Even they trade in illegal goods like drug, tomato and fake goods which can help them earn a big amount of money to server their glamorous life. Hence, vocational training for criminals is very important which can help them have specific occupations to living after going out of prisons. Moreover, education for people when they are still in prison also help criminals have proper psychological preparation to adapt with new life in society. For instance, due to stealing, poor people were thrown into jail. During prison time, they have trained a specific jobs and moral lecture, after get out of prison, reformed prisoners can get a job to living and do not repeating crimes.
In conclusion, with some mentioned above reason, I once again strongly agree that training to criminals when they are still in prison is a holistic approach to act as deterrent against criminals comeback the old way.
On the one hand, education provides offenders with knowledge and practical skills that they might need when they return to the community, especially in finding a suitable employment. After leaving prison, criminals need to make money to afford their lives. If they are oriented and educated in prison, they will be more easier to find jobs. Therefore, they are still be appreciated by society and become better citizens. As a result, criminals are less likely to offend again and the crime rate will be reduced.
On the other hand, from my point of view, education of offenders is not the best solution to handle the root of problem. This form of education is only for offenders who have committed the crime and cannot prevent others from offending. There are many stronger methods that are more effective than education for criminals. For example, severe and longer punishments should be applied for those who break the law. By this way, people will be afraid of the sentence before they intend to commit crimes. Another excellent solution is educating for students at school, which can equip knowledge about crimes and crime prevention for young children.These measures are more stronger and have more long-lasting impacts on the reduction of crime.
In conclusion, besides applying education for criminals in prison, we also should offer severe sentences for offenders as well as educating for students at school. By collaborating these measures, we could reduce crime rate as much as possible.
