Dear Ravi Menon,

First of all, I would like to express my sincere apology to you and your friends for all the inconveniences that all of you had to suffer in our restaurant yesterday. Besides, I am also very grateful to you for reporting this problem to us timely.

As you know, our restaurant is very crowded, especially in the weekends. And yesterday is a really busy day. Most of the raw materials in the kitchen was out of stock while our delivery staff were not agile and numerous enough to fully provide for the kitchen's demands with such a large number of customers outside. That was the reason why there were only four available instead of 12 dishes in the menu as usual. Additionally, when I asked the Chief serving counter, she said that she had carefully reminded the waiter to let an empty table for 6 people at 7 p.m. However, he was not skillful enough to deal with too many overcrowded layers of customers who got into our restaurant. Moreover, because he is a new staff, he was lack of the experience to treat customers in a reasonable and polite way in such a special situation. He was criticized heavily this morning. It was our shortcomings when not carefully preparing everything in case our restaurant is too crowded as well as letting a new person take over an important work like serving guests in such busy weekends.

Once again, I sincerely apologize to all of you and thank you very much for your letter. I really hope that you will sympathise and ignore this unfortunate incident for us and continue using our services in the future. Your next meal at our restaurant will totally be free and I am sure that this problem will never happen again. We always try our best to serve our customers' demands in the best ways.
