For many years, money has played an important role in society. With money, people can make their livings easier and happier. Because of this, many people these days consider the salary the most important factor to choose a job. From my point of view, I do not approve of this opinion.nFirstly, choosing a job with a high salary means that you have to work hard equal to the salary you receive. For example, you have applied for a foreign company, they offer a very high payment for your job, and you agree. Then, you have to work hard for more than 8 hours and you do not have a day off in weeks. Soon, you will be exhausted because of work and no play, or even go to hospital because of overworking. You will realize that you are too busy to spend your money or relax.nNext, one may limit or lose his passion or interest in a field that he really cares for if he decides to choose a job with a high salary. Some people are so lucky to find a job that they have passion in with a high salary. Meanwhile, some are not. When one choose to work because of money, not because of his interest, for a period, he will be so tired of his job. As we know, passion is a part of dream. Thus, he can neither make his dream come true nor be happy in life.nIn addition, working for job with a high salary sometimes puts you at risk. Some jobs with high salaries seem to be attractive, but they are illegal such as smuggling, selling drugs or even selling one's body. Many people, especially young people, who have little knowledge of the job are easily deceived to do the job unconsciously. When they have to pay for a living lesson with a costly price like being imprisoned or catching HIV/AIDS, they realize it is too late. Even so, being late is better than never and one must quit the job as soon as they know it is a bad job however high the salary is. Hence, it is very important to have full knowledge of job you are going to take.nWhat's more, money is just a means of livings, not a key to happiness. Many people are rich but they can not buy happiness. They may have spent their whole life to earn money. Or they have done anything even illegal, immoral. Everything as well as money is just meaningless if you are sick because of overworking, or you always feel nervous because of doing something immoral and so on. Thus, money or a high salary does not always bring you happiness.nTo sum up, one should never consider the salary the most important factor when choosing a job. Besides, he should consider his interest in the job and have full knowledge of it. Only when he feels that a high salary deserves to his job as well as his skills should he accept the job.
