The female scientist of NASA passed away at the age of 101
Kinda Johnson, the mathematician of NASA, who was known as person has got a brain as fast as "a lived computer" passed away on February 24th when she was 101 years old.
In the beginning days of establishment of the American Aviation and Space Agency, when all machinery facilities were still very rudimentary, Mrs. Kinda and her colleagues had to calculated the Space Shuttle's orbit by hands. Her contributions helped America become the first country that was successful in bringing humans to the Moon. The silent life of this colored woman was reflected in the book and the film that have the same title of " the unknown numbers".
In the NASA announcement wrote: "NASA will never forget about Kinda Johnson. Many great milestones in history would have not appeared without her dedications. Story about Kinda's life will always be aspiration for the next generations to follow".
In the ceremony in the White House in 2015, the former president Obama awarded her the medal of freedom. This is the highest civil honor that a American citizen can receive.
