1. Khi nói về một người quan trọng với mình, như bài học là "a friend", ta nên dẫn dắt vấn đề rồi nói cụ thể đến người bạn đó.
Tiếp theo, ta sẽ nói từ đâu mà trở thành bạn, tầm quan trọng của người đó với bản thân.

Khi nghe một vài câu, thì nhớ nội dung không thành vấn đề với bạn học, nhưng nếu phải nghe nhiều hơn, giả dụ một đoạn văn, bạn có thể nghe phải nghe khá nhiều và dễ quên đến một nửa số ý nghe được sau khi đoạn văn kết thúc. Do đó, việc luyện trí nhớ ngắn hạn là điều rất cần thiết để bạn có thể nhớ được ý của người nói.

Tip: Khi bạn không giỏi trong việc nhớ, thì bạn có thể ghi nhanh một số ý chính ra, gọi là "take note".
